Blue Sapphire Gemstone Layering Chain

Luminous blues mingle with deeper, saturated shades in this 12 carat strand of variegated blue sapphires. Their captivating sparkle and remarkable richness of color give the strand a presence all its own. The faceted stones catch the light with every movement, creating a shimmer that is stunning even worn alone.

The stones are purchased by the carat, and each strand is made by hand in small batches in the Pluma studio. Change the length, add your favorite pendants, and make each combination your own.

• Short layer: Join the strand’s ends with the single gold hinged link for a 17" collarbone layer. Wear it alone or clip a pendant into the same link.
• Longer layer: Connect the 2.5" removable chain insert between the strand’s ends. Position it at the back for an uninterrupted sweep of blue sapphires at the front.
• Pendant layer: Wear the chain insert at the front. Link the two pendant clasps together, attach the smaller one to a chain link, and clip your pendant into the larger one.

All styling components are included: the sapphire strand, single gold hinged link, removable chain insert and two pendant clasps.
